Far Leaves Tea in JAPAN

We're so happy to be working with our partner, Oldman's Tailor, to bring Far Leaves Tea to the Japanese market.

Yuji and Toku Shimura, husband and wife designers, run a successful fashion business specializing in linen, based at the foot of Mt. Fuji. 

It was 2012 when this lovely couple came to visit our shop.  As we talked over tea, we learned a lot about each other and felt a strong connection.   Although we work in different fields, we have both been striving to run businesses focusing on high quality products that help enrich people's lives. It has been a great joy for both of us to work together to bring this project to fruition.

With Oldman's Tailor's outstanding design sense, they introduce Far Leaves Tea to Japan in special packages.

2013年より、オールドマンズテーラーによってFar Leaves Teaが日本で販売されることとなりました。

R&D.M.Co-のデザイナーであるしむら祐次さん、とくさんがFar Leaves Teaを訪れたのは2012年のことでした。それぞれのフィールドは違うけれど、物づくりに対する姿勢、商品へのこだわりなど、お茶を飲みながら話をしているとお互い共感することがたくさんありました。そんな出会いからFar Leaves Teaの日本発売に至り、日本で多くの方々にFar Leaves Teaを楽しんで頂けることを嬉しく思います。パッケージもオールドマンズテーラーの洗練されたとても素敵なデザインです。
